At our flying school we see the magic of Hang Gliding every day: the moment you get away from the ground, feel the thermal grabs, and you float. Free. Right next to a bird. But that magic is becoming less and less shared with young people. While this sport - full of adventure, technology and adrenaline - you have everything that your generation goes on.
We are changing that. With the DeltaFly Talent Team 2026 .
Why this team?
In competitions such as the NK Hang Gliding you mainly see one thing: a lot of experience, little young talent. That must be done differently. Too many young people do not know that Hang Gliding exists at all. And whoever discovers it often do not know how to get on after those first hops on the practice slope.
That's why we start this team. For young pilots with guts and air in their hearts.
Why this initiative?
Hang Gliding is freedom, technology and adventure in one - exactly what appeals to young people. Yet at competitions such as the NK we mainly see the 'old guard'. Young people often miss guidance or a clear path after their first flying experiences.
With the talent team we want to bridge that gap. We offer talented young pilots a springboard towards the competition level, with the right support, coaching and community.
