Hang Gliding requires strength, coordination, endurance, and mental acuity. This winter training program is specifically for pilots who want to use the winter months to get or stay fit. A comprehensive four-month program that strengthens your physical and mental fitness and optimizes your flight performance, including participation in the Community Days.

Why choose this training?

Many delta pilots experience a dip in their physical and mental condition through periods without flying. With this training you stay strong, focused and ready for flying. Through a structured schedule and guidance of experienced coaches you ensure continuity in your training and avoid start -up problems.

What can you expect?

The Winter Training is a comprehensive program focused on strength, fitness, mental focus, and personal guidance, specifically for hang gliding . It includes participation in the Community Days.

The PLUS of Winter Training

The Winter Training program differs from the ongoing training program. It's a complete four-month program, including a monthly Community Day. Don't want to train year-round, or are you unsure if you can keep up? These four months are clear, with a clear start, interim measurements, and a clear end. And you get a 20% discount on the Community Days !

  • Intake interview, baseline measurement and progress test
  • Personal training schedule for home
  • Participation in 4 Community Days (worth €330)

All Community Days included

The Community Days are a regular part of the Winter Training. Every month, we meet somewhere in the Netherlands to discuss a specific theme and learn about training. You'll also meet your coach and have the opportunity to ask specific questions.

The Community Days are included in the price - but with a 20% discount!

This is how the program works

We'll start on November 22nd with an introduction, intake, and the first Community Day, focusing on fall training. Afterward, you'll continue training at home: you'll train independently at home and keep your coach updated on how things are going. You'll have regular contact with your coach, who will continually fine-tune the program. The program ends on April 1st , just in time for your first flights !

Independent home training:
You'll receive a weekly strength and core training plan. The plan includes targeted exercises that focus on the muscle groups you use while hang gliding . This will help you become physically stronger, improve your flying technique, and be mentally prepared.

Connect with each other in a private Strava group
. All our athletes join the private Strava group. There, the coach can track your progress, participants can encourage each other, and we'll challenge you!
