The last stage to your certificate! After this advanced course at the DFA3 level you are an independent pilot and you can do delta flies almost anywhere in the world. You can already drag and now follow your technology, and you learn thermics and flies in challenging circumstances. Go for the license 2 with towing and the world is at your feet!

You can already have solo flies in calm conditions and controlled start, flight and landing well. You will now focus on thermal flies, special maneuvers, flying in traffic and endurance flights. Flight planning, strategy, goal countries, flying in challenging circumstances, independence and self -reflection. You fly in the middle of the day, and even if it blows a bit harder or with crosswind.

It is a full, intensive course that lets you take big steps in a few days. End station: the license 2, with which you can fly independently!

Program and daily schedule

You fly as much as possible in the middle of the day. Together with the beginners you start early in the morning to make your material in order, and as soon as they have flown out it is your turn!

You make a maximum of 3 flights per day, where possible also some longer flights in thermics.

You make your own planning and daily schedule, which you consult with your instructor in advance. You are also responsible for the flight material.

Planning advanced course dragging

Dragging the DFA3 course consists of 2 lesson blocks, usually from Friday afternoon to Sunday. When booking you can select data or choose contact with your instructor. Immediately after booking you plant the classing blocks together.

The 10 flights in this course give no guarantee for obtaining your license. That depends on your own progress. If you need some more flights, you can book them in consultation with your instructor.

Including and exclusive

The DFA3 internships include the use of school material, any towing costs and a third-party liability insurance against third parties. It does not include material and excluding KNVVL membership and other insurance policies. It is also excluding the field contribution for EHST. It is € 15 per day, camping included. This will be settled with you afterwards.

  • Do you run into something or do you want practical lessons thermal flies? Then book an extra landem.
  • Rent a flying material? That's possible! Ask about the possibilities.
  • Combine this internship with DFA3 winches and/or DFA3 mountain flies!

Leather winches and mountain flies?

Do you want to learn thermics better? Then also go on a mountain stage! There you make more flying hours faster because we can help you refine your thermal technique from the starting place. You can then immediately get the mountain drawing for your certificate.

Prefer flying in the Netherlands? Then check the Lierstage, also at DFA3 level. Lieren is the most used starting method in the Netherlands and with your winch bill you can join one of the Dutch clubs.
