Took your first solo flight to more? Then the follow -up course Solosleilen (DFA2) is the logical step. In this course you will continue to work on your flight skills and everything that comes to fly around independently: flight planning, weather, dealing with the material, ground exercises and of course solo flights under radio guidance.

You go into the depth in the Hang Gliding next internship. You make solo flights in calm conditions and lay the foundation for the independent flying. You learn more about the weather, aerodynamics and risk management and develop your flight skills under radio guidance.

At the end of this course you fly confidently in light turbulent conditions and land on your feet. With a bit of luck you have already flown in thermal.

Program and daily schedule

You can still make the first flights in quiet air, but soon you can also start with a little more wind and eventually even with a light thermal. You work on perfecting the controls and target countries. First on the wheels and finally on your feet, neat in the goal!

You make a maximum of 3 flights per day. The first days just after sunrise and just before sunset, the last days also more in the middle of the day.

Planning Stage Solo dragging

The towing internship at DFA2 level consists of 4 lesson blocks, usually from Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening. A number of dates are already planned. For other dates, contact your instructor after booking.

Tip!

Have you completed DFA2 and the Hellingstarten certificate? Then you can go to the Alps! Other follow -up lessons are DFA3 Lieren or DFA3 dragging.

Including and exclusive

This towing internship includes the use of school material, the towing costs and a third-party liability insurance against third parties. It does not include KNVVL membership, other insurance policies and a field contribution. It is € 15 per day, camping included and will be settled with you afterwards.
