In the hang gliding internship, you'll delve deeper. You'll make solo flights in calm conditions, laying the foundation for independent flying. You'll learn more about weather, aerodynamics, and risk management, and develop your flying skills under radio guidance.
At the end of this course you fly confidently in light turbulent conditions and land on your feet. With a bit of luck you have already flown in thermal.

Program and daily schedule
Your first flights will be in calm air, but soon you'll be able to start with a bit more wind and eventually even with light thermals. You'll work on perfecting your controls and landing targets. First on the wheels and eventually on your feet, landing neatly on target!
You'll make a maximum of three flights per day. The first few days are just after sunrise and just before sunset, and the last few days are more mid-day.

Planning Stage Solo air towing
The towing internship at DFA2 level consists of 4 lesson blocks, usually from Thursday afternoon to Sunday evening. A number of dates are already planned. For other dates, contact your instructor after booking.

Have you completed DFA2 and earned your slope launch certificate? Then you can join us for the Alps! Other follow-up courses include DFA3 winching or DFA3 air towing .
Including and exclusive
This towing internship includes the use of school material, the towing costs and a third-party liability insurance against third parties. It does not include KNVVL membership, other insurance policies and a field contribution. It is € 15 per day, camping included and will be settled with you afterwards.
