Our program
Arrival: September 16
Support act: 17 + 18 September
Main program: 19, 20 + 21 September
In the supporting program, we explore together with other pilots from different countries in the region and we organize lectures or workshops - also interesting for those who cannot fly with it yet!
During the main program we are also there to let you fly as much as possible (on Friday between the hot air balloons, on Saturday and Sunday during the demonstration or the carnival), and to highlight the gems of the festival.
We also provide a great wild camping place at the starting place, where we can stay as a group for the entire period.
Level and costs
The program is open to everyone, whether you are flying or not. A considerable affinity with Hang Gliding is desirable! Depending on your level and wishes, there are different options. You can choose where you participate or not.
Floating during the festival is only possible if you have B2 with a mountain drawing with recent (mountain) flying experience.
You can also fly during the supporting act if you just don't have a B2 but recent mountain flying experience, under the guidance of an instructor.

Fly longer flying? Join us on safari!
Our program for the Coupe Icare fits seamlessly at the Stekensafari , a week of mountain flies at all kinds of different flight spots in the same region. It starts on September 10 and ends on September 18, the day before the festival is really bursting.
Do you fly at B2 level or Bíjna and do you have recent Berger experience? Then you can participate. The cutting safari overlaps with the supporting act, so if you book both you will receive a € 200 discount.
