Many delta pilots experience a dip in their physical and mental condition through periods without flying. With this training you stay strong, focused and ready for flying. Through a structured schedule and guidance of experienced coaches you ensure continuity in your training and avoid start -up problems.

What can you expect?

A complete program aimed at strength, fitness, mental focus and personal guidance, specifically for hang gliding .

Personal guidance

  • Intake interview: by telephone or online to discuss your goals and needs
  • Coaching: A coaching session with your Delta Fly Adventures Coach every two weeks. By telephone, online or at the flight
  • Adjustment: interim adjustments to get the most out of your training.
  • Mentoring: Work together with experienced pilots and coaches for extra motivation.

Tailor -made training schedule weekly

  • Personal training schedule for flexible home training
  • With 3 to 4 training days
  • Elaborate strength and corestability training of 45 minutes
  • Optional: Training via the Trainingpeaks app

How does the program work?

You can register at any time in the season. After a careful intake you start; You train independently at home and keep the coach informed of how things are going. After that you have regular contact.

Independent home training
You will receive a power and coretrial schedule every week. The diagram contains targeted exercises that focus on the muscle groups that you use during hang gliding . This helps you to become physically stronger and to improve your flight techniques and to be well prepared.

Train via an app?
Do you like to train with an app? Then you can work with training peaks for € 10 extra. We will then prepare your training sessions in the app. There you can see, check them in and indicate how the training went.

    Intensive, guidance is good, setting priorities between private and training is difficult.

    The training is well tailored to hang gliding .
    Soon after the start of the training I noticed a positive effect during soaren; I could keep a flatter angle-of-down without bothering my neck.
    A little further in the training I noticed during a mountain flight that left and right turns went just as well, while I used to have a preference for left turns.
    And, nice bonus, the sling roads on the motorcycle are also much smoother.
    I would say: take advantage of it.
