We flights tandems from our home base in Stadskanaal, Groningen. A small plane tows the tandem flyer to an altitude of over 500 meters. From there, you'll have a magnificent view of Groningen, Drenthe, and even the Wadden Sea in the distance.
After disconnecting, we float freely. Enjoy calm or a flight full of adrenaline? Admire the beautiful view, experience sensational moments and even get the chance to sit on the wheel. Perfect as a gift or to experience yourself. The choice is yours!

Last Saturday I had my first Tandem Delta Flight with Heleen.
We had beautiful weather for it, only Heleen said that the air itself was a bit turbulent. I have felt that turbulent, but with little comparison material I take it from her.
The flight itself was really great! Heleen gives good explanation and guided me very well through the flight. I even allowed to send a piece myself, which I also really enjoyed.
I'm still debating whether I might want to take lessons, but the tandem flight is definitely recommended.

For my 70th birthday, my family gave me a voucher for tandem hang hang gliding . I redeemed it last Saturday with Heleen. It was truly fantastic.
Heleen is very hospitable, explains things clearly, and is wonderfully calming if you're feeling a bit nervous. Highly recommended. And who knows, I might even go again.

I received this tandem flight for my 50th birthday, and Saturday the 11th was the day. It was a perfect day because: beautiful weather and lots of kites in the air because of a competition, so there was plenty to see. Lots of enthusiastic people on the field, all eager to chat. Heleen welcomed us warmly, and when it was my turn, it was all about explaining, preparing, and then off we went behind the plane! We flew for quite a while. Last Saturday during the open days of the Vledderveen airport made a tandem flight with Heleen.
First done some ground exercises with René, so that I better understood what the wind does with the kite and how to correct.
By Rinus with his ULV, the Delta Leager has pulled the air to about 500 m. This was a bit bumpy TGV turbulence, but great to do.
After disconnection, the real free bird feeling starts and I was allowed to control the kite under the guidance of Heleen.
What a great experience this was. Safe landed and luckily I indicated that I wanted a video of the flight.

Yesterday with the four of them flown with Heleen (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Heleen is flexible and thinks along well. She talks you through it if you find it exciting and take all the time. Super nice experience. Recommended!

The best so far.
To be honest, this is most like flying like a bird !! Delta Vliegen wins from paragliding, gliding, hot air balloon sails. What they are all right together is that my height did not bother me. The 'most exciting' was the ride on the lawn behind an airplane. With your chin a few cm above and lawn, it suddenly goes very fast ... And then you are already flying and the enjoyment is blown! The peace of Heleen and her explanation means that it is continuously relaxing.
So great to fly above your own residential area and therefore to recognize everything but now from a bird's eye view.
Definitely recommended !!!!

For everyone who may have doubts, please book a flight. You experience a certain sense of freedom (and rest) which is difficult to put into words. I myself am anything but scared. That is why it is harder for me to move in someone's shoes who may find it exciting, but what I can say is that Heleen makes you feel enormously safe. She knows what she is doing, that's why you don't have to worry! Do it, you only live once and these kinds of experiences are wonderful memories to add to that journey.
*is even considering a course in the future. It has fueled something in me 🙂

Flying... I'd been thinking about doing that for a while, and then I was given a tandem flight as a gift...
The people around me were more excited than I was, I think 😉
I was just really looking forward to it...
Now, I'm not a roller coaster person, so I was curious to see how I would experience this...
And it turned out to be truly amazing... soaring into the air behind the plane and then floating like a bird.
Heleen is a really wonderful woman; she explained everything very calmly and pleasantly.
And the video footage turned out really well, in short, a fantastic experience!

On Sunday, July 20th, I had a fantastic tandem flight with Heleen.
Communication about the time was excellent and was updated regularly when the weather forecast called for it.
I had to wait a bit before taking off, but that was also communicated with me constantly.
The explanations before and during the flight were comprehensive and very enjoyable; I even got to pilot the plane for a bit.
It was a truly wonderful experience.

I couldn't have predicted what a short half-hour flight would bring me. For days afterward, I savored the feeling of being completely detached from the earth and seeing the buzzards from above. A truly wonderful experience; I wasn't scared for a moment, just incredibly happy! Heleen is a pleasant person who tells me just the right amount, and also (still) seems to enjoy flying, which made my experience even more special. The atmosphere at the airport was also very pleasant; everyone was enthusiastic.
If I have more time, I'll definitely go again!!!
